I'm not sure where someone becomes an older woman/man, but I'm going to say somewhere in their 40s,

But it's all a matter of prospective depending what age you are I suppose.

To be fair, everyone is a lot younger or older than a lot of other people - I'd judge it on whether I'm attracted to the person for who they are rather than how old they are

That said, I also like extremes. My first ever encounter was with a woman 25 years older than me, and I've had several gf's over the years 10-15 years older than me.

But I've also recently (before lockdown) been with someone 17 years younger

Go with whatever you're comfortable with, and what makes you happy

I’d agree with this. I’d only really class an older woman as someone with at least fifteen years on me. Other than that I don’t see it is a big deal, especially seen as colleagues and work friends are often much older than me but don’t feel older than me at all!
