When we are allowed to meet up again id like to make a film for websites.

Are they are any video camera experts on here who can recommend a good budget digital video recorder. I have a spare room so thinking of turning it into a little video studio.

l use webcams but the quality isnt brilliant. Ive been a cam girl on other sites (wont mention which) before and been making a bit of cash with that but need to make it more professional

Quality is ridiculous these days, even some phones record in 8k so anything you get should be pretty decent.

It depends on your budget, you might want to stretch to a DSLR as you'll be able to shoot photos and video then.

Thanks. i think its also down to lighting. since most digital tech can do quite good video now.

Definitely. Lighting kits are pretty cheap now too, can get a decent set off Amazon, or a diva-lite if you're just doing solo stuff.

Search Ebay, and buy the most expensive camcorder that you can afford. Make sure that the camera comes with a USB lead that can connect it to your computer.

I’ve sent you a message with details of three editing programs, which run in Windows, are free, very simple to use, and will help you to:

1. Mix webcam long shots with camcorder juicy bits

2. Cut out the mistakes and long boring bits

3. Add titles and credits

4. Add a logo

5. Add sound tracks of voice, music, and a mixture of both.

I’m no sort of video expert, and don’t understand the meaning of most words used by the software, but I still make decent-looking vids – it really is easy.

o/p get a Logitech C920 HD Pro Webcam (£45 from amazon) this can record to hd. It's the encoding where quality degrades. Ensure the correct setting is in place after editing and saving the final video. Don't spend too much at first. Just do a couple to test the water so to speak. Good luck!
