Just a reminder in 1995 the main story on the evening news was blur and oasis had a single Coming out on the same day. This was the lead story, not the funny little story at the end about a skateboarding bulldog. How I long for there to be fuck all going on again.

I bought both the singles, blur won the single battle, oasis won the album war.

Yeah, their worst song probably. ‘Roll with it’ was the oasis song, not that great either.

Agreed not fussed on that song, though listened to tender and beetlebum the other night. And yes roll with it again not their finest

Yeah, there better tunes. There was great albums out that year, Radiohead - The bends was probably my favourite.

Different class is a great album. Pulp ended up headlining Glastonbury that year, the Stone Roses were due to headline, but John squire come off his mountain bike and broke his collarbone.
