Den of Iniquity

Most of you will think I'm weird but this is a family recipe my Mum taught me years ago ...

It's my Cottage Pie ....

Serves 6 .

800g Mince

Diced Onion

Parsley

1 Oxo Cube

A large splash of Lea & Perrins

1 Tablespoon of Gravy Granules

And 1 Tin of Baked Beans ... yes Baked Beans .

Cook all that in a Wok for 20 minutes stirring regularly.

Leave to settle for an hour .

Make the mash very soft and then put the mince in a rectangular glass dish and spread the soft mash evenly on the top .

Then grate a shitload of Red Leicester cheese and scrunch up a pack of plain crisps into small bits and spread over the cheese .

Whack in oven for approx 20 mins and go to heaven .

You're welcome

That sounds delicious - not ever heard of beans in a cottage pie but I know in Scotland mince & baked beans with onion is a thing so not that weird

My signature date dish:

Goats cheese and butternut squash tart with a caramelised walnut salad!

Looks the business and not to heavy for the physical stuff later x

Physical stuff?? You feed them .. then get them to help you building flatpack furniture?? - Does sound tasty though - love goats cheese.
