Here, there and everywhere!

Put lemonade in a jelly to give it a fizz?

I'm on a soft food diet and the pot of jelly I got for tea in hospital was horrible and the only reason I can think of is the lack of lemonade in it.

On a mooch

I’ve never thought to put lemonade in jelly. Do you use it as part of the liquid content, which I imagine would go flat, or add it as you eat it ?

I've seen people make some ghetto meals but never heard lemonade in jelly. Surely it wouldn't matter after its been in the fridge for hours and would just taste like normal jelly.

Make up the first part with boiling water and instead of topping it up with cold water use lemonade instead.

Nope you can taste the fizzy bubbles even once it's set.

Go on try it!

Even if you add lemonade the fizz element will go, all it will do is add sweetness (unless you use diet)

Just googled and no it's not just me!

But more importantly straight from the jelly company!

I probably will if i can find jelly in a supermarket. I reckon some cranberry juice or something would be better.

I think the acid in the juice might effect the setting of the jelly.

I know too much vodka in a jelly stops it setting.

Yes! This! And if you add alcohol you need to add less liquid otherwise it won't set

I made rose wine jelly before.. and also added some vodka to strawberry and put it inside emptied limes to then cut it in quarters and make it watermelon lookalike. It was a hit.

Central

Would a fast freeze help to preserve more C02 bubbles? Ive never tried lemonade in jelly but it sounds like a great idea
