So a little light hearted thread to start with.

Lockdown has been different for all of us. But when you have been locked away with friends family or alone, what new hobbies have you taken up? Or what tasks have you got done you have been putting off for far to long! Share! You may be a sorce of intrest for others to start something new!

For me I have continued my coin collection and finally sorted it all out into order and value.

I have decorated my bedroom, including putting up curtain rails and blinds, stuff I would normally get a man to do!

I actually washed my own car too, after 3 years of avoidance!

Herts/Beds border

I've started cycling. My bum is so sore! I've bought paint and rollers for my bedroom but haven't actually started painting yet.

all over

I painted two bathrooms, fitted an outside tap, patched the hole in the shed roof, grew an entire vegetable garden, powerwashed, organised all my kitchen cupboards, put loads of crap in the attic, painted all the garden fence, learned to knit and learned to home school.

Painting the hall landing and stairs this week.

I’ve read seven novels, baked all kinds of snacks (sweet and savoury), and done so much yoga that my body is always aching at the moment.

London

Restarted cycling after a 20+ year break, started learning BSL but am struggling as my little fingers seem to be a bit wierd and I can't get some of the basic shapes, rediscovered a love of baking, and started dressmaking again after many years gap.

Not a series...not even all of the same genre! I’m just an absolute bookworm

I have started making custom fishing lures, that are now for sale turned out to be a good thing to do during lockdown. Any luck I'll be able to give up working for others. X
