As a rule, I’m not really that bothered one way or another by them.

That being said, sometimes I see people that have incredible pieces of art on them and I think wow they look incredible.

I’ve never been put off by someone’s tattoos.

I'm in between I don't mind a tattoo in certain places but if it goes all over and to many it's not for me but It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me because the end of the day it's her body and not mine and I would hope I could look pass the tattoos and see the lady underneath.

Tattoos are a persons story whether you like the designs or not, if someone cannot accept them being a part of you then you are definitely better off not responding to them if they choose to be negative about them.

Your tattoos are lovely. Clearly whoever told you that can't find anything else to pick fault with & is trying to bait you or make you feel insecure over them. Don't worry, you're gorgeous, block & move on, you don't need people commenting about you like that.

And that's cool - im not judging. Just generalising my opinion, since you asked.

I'd probably go large but they wouldn't suit my physique so am not bothered to get any.

I do think they are so popular these days that it's almost unique not to have one (based on women, not myself).

I’ve been told I have too many a few times now, and even had a message from a couple asking me not to ruin my face with piercings- told them too late, haha, and that I see my ink and my piercings as enhancements, and are personal to me, they are not ugly.

There will always be people who like and people who don’t. I just don’t see why people feel the need to message and criticise people who do. I wouldn’t dream of messaging someone and telling them they’d look better with ink or piercings, but people think it’s ok to tell me I’ve ruined my looks with them. Viv xx

There is the phrase courtesy of Kim K about tattoos: You wouldn’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.

But in my view a rally car is more fun to drive!

"I'm not bothered.

Tattoos don't make anyone less of a knob head or more interesting.

They're just a picture you're stuck with for life - when you're old and wrinkly and they've all merged into a big black blob "

I was told that exact same thing when I was a student nurse, so I told them, I plan to be bigger and smooth- no being wrinkly for me, lol xx

Depends on the tattoo and on the person.

I'd usually say no because that's safe. But on occasion I see the right tattoo on the right person and it's hot.

Absolutely love tattoos I have yet to get one done myself I'm still at the deciding factor of what I want done as I feel a bit of thought is needed rather than just going with something you might end up regretting

And nevermind what others think of you it's your body in the end

In most cases, nay. Not even 100% with my own tbh. But it doesn't keep me up at night and it's never been a deal breaker either. It's like people who have those 'live, love, life' or 'dance like nobody's watching' stuff in people's homes.

Good tattoos that have been designed to go on the part of the body they are on. Planned and have meaning or look amazing. Thighs, arms, side, neck and ankle are more attractive. Boobs are beautiful as they are, although a tattoo underneath or between can work. Just my opinion but it's whatever the person decides. It's their body.

I'm not fussed either way. People can choose what to do with their own bodies. I'm rather partial to a bit of ink on myself and do find it attractive on others.

I've had a fair bit of shit on here from people who've oddly taken the time to message me to say I've ruined my body/I'm ugy/have shit tattoos/will regret them when I'm older. So cleary some must be strongly against them LOL.

I've 2 full day sittings paid for once my tattoo studio is allowed to open. Looking forward to that

I do love the tattoos that people have and are embarrassed by. They always tell a story. I've seen some rather funny ones on Fab meets

Haha! I was 16 when I got one- it’s nothing too outrageous it’s some stars and swirls on my foot. The problem is I’m from an island, and when tattoo artist took a photo and put it in his book, sooooo many people got the exact same one we look like we’re in a cult!

The other is a shamrock on my bum cheek after a few drinks at a family event in Cork!

I like your ones, it’s going to look even more amazing when you get it all added to!

I keep changing my mind on what I want- but there’s so many ideas I like! I’m just not doing on an island where everyone will get the same

Massive yes!! I love them, the history behind tattooing and the legends like Norman Collins or Horiyoshi III who influenced many artists.

I've had soo many comments from people ohh you've ruined your looks, or ohh you have ruined your skin bla bla bla but they tend to be from the older generations.

A cult though. Lol. SO many people had the same tattoos when I was growing up. Chinese symbols, dolphins and devils galore!

Ahhh I had a name and some swirls on my foot. Since covered over. Looney Tunes characters were all the rage when I was at school. Thankfully I never followed the trend.

A friend of mine got Tweety Pie on her boob and her fela got Taz. Both regret them deeply. A few other friends got chinese symbols. Back then I don't think we really wanted a tattoo. It was just a bit rebellious. My Mum went mental when she found out I'd sneaked off school to get one at 13

I love a random bum tatt. So many guys have them and I love hearing the stories behind them
