Never stopped - that WFH life.

I did go into the office last week though for the day.

A helpful little checklist for those going back:

- Can you remember what 'work' is?

- Can you remember what your specific job is?

- Can you remember how to perform that job?

- Can you remember where you go to perform that job?

- Can you remember how to get there?

- Have you remembered your packed lunch as the queue at the shop will be longer than your lunch hour.

Might be wise to check the above before Monday morning

Been back for two weeks.

Am I the only one who has enjoyed Furlough? It’s been so relaxing and a mile away from the usual manic 7 day a week relentless work!!

It's been nice to to have to work, but when hobbies become a full-time activity, after a couple of months I'm finding they are starting to feel like jobs than hobbies!

I had two or three works off/ "standby" and been working normally since. I kinda wish I'd been furloughed just for son time off.

I’m off for a week on leave but I’ve been going to work as usual during the lockdown.

My office is in the centre of town.

Will be interesting to see if the shops in town that have been open throughout are busier, so far, they’ve been relatively quiet which has been great.

Your offices may have changed when you go back.

I’ve moved desks so that we’re more spaced out. Some have moved floors and a couple have gone to a different building

There are all these signs everywhere on the floor, in the bathrooms and on the wall about keeping your distance and washing your hands.

Not always possible to keep 2 metres apart from colleagues when they need your help though.

True. More exciting than my job though so would take them as a full-time sort of thing lol

Glasgowish

I have been working very long hours and can not wait to get back to my old rota. Very envious of those who have had 10weeks off.

Have been off for 9 weeks on furlough and i must admit found it hard the first few weeks then got into it and I’ve enjoyed the time off. But got a new job starting tomorrow otherwise I’d of been off for another 4 or more weeks.

southend

Been working from home the whole time, with 2 mornings a week in the office for the stuff that couldn't be done from home.

Need to make sure I make more time for the commute in the morning.

I fully understand that the grass is always greener, but I've just been working constantly (and it's been busier), so I'm actually quite jealous people have had paid time of work to recoup/learn/enjoy the sun/spend time with family.

London

Still worked through lockdown, I know many who have worked during this time wished they could be home like others; and others at home wished they could work.

I would just love a week off after full lift of restrictions-not annual leave but still paid haha.
