Do you look at where people are before messaging?

I don't understand why people message if they are at the opposite end of the country?

Do you check this before you message?

If you do then why message?

I'm interested.....

Usually check if it’s for a potential meet. Sometimes we message because of forums or status so we don’t check then

Not really bothered where they are the type of meets we are interested in are based on a weekend away so it really doesn’t matter as we will happily travel

Depends on how you think you'd get on face to face and what for.

A quick fuck then distance is an issue, properly enjoying time together as well then I'm happy to travel.

Distance isn't overly an issue plus most of my conversations start off the back of forum posts so distance isn't a factor at that point

I'd say it depends on the person and the connection I had with them through messaging. If it's one of the site lotharios with women constantly after him, I probably wouldn't make too much of an effort unless I felt a REALLY strong connection, as the likelihood is he'll just move on to the next in line once we've met. But hell yes if it's someone that I've really clicked with over extended messaging - at the very least I get to see a different part of the country and a stay in a nice hotel.

It depends really. I have few travel plans when this all over so started chatting few couples from places I’m planning to visit.

Also few couples contacted me as they are planning to have weekend breaks around the country and could come closer whenever happens.

However, it would be a concern, if you are not into one-off meets as they likely to end up like this

I don’t look at distance but that is because work takes me pretty much everywhere regularly so that suits me.

I would feel awkward about someone I had not already met travelling a long way to me however. Unless it was a person I already knew.

Distance has never been an issue for me. In the new world order we will find ourselves in then it may be forced upon us not to do so much travelling.

But in if someone has engaged me in many levels and piqued my interest have car will travel.

I don't always message in pursuit of sex, in fact most of the time it's not. I like making friends & connections first & foremost, then if the circumstances fit together, personality, chemistry, location etc, then sex can be included in the friendship.

I'd be quite happy having a friend 300 miles away to talk with that isn't just talking to me because they want thier hole - that makes me NOT want it haha

In the middle

In the past I have enjoyed the odd road trip or two but I was always sure they were people I would want to spend a weekend/overnight with, I wouldn’t generally do it for one offs. I’ve had regular play partners who have been anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours drive to see them, what else are weekends for
