People always make it look so easy to build and make though. I made a wildlife pond with the kids. I dug a hole (which was very hard) and they used plastic trays we had in the garden and it looks like a dog's dinner!

I’m doing one now, 2 ponds, waterfall , stone budda, solar and battery backup. I’m laying up the liner myself in GRP to match the rock , and using slate, rock, marble and crystals. A good one takes a lot of time and effort.

I keep seeing ones that would be just enough to fit a lilo in with an inch or two spare at the edge to ensure bobbing. If you closed your eyes whilst on it, you could be almost anywhere

I got into a YouTube hole once and watched loads of vids of 2 guys making little gaffs in a jungle. They just used mud and sticks but had little underground pools and all sorts.

Well ordered one from Argos at 3am. I’ve sat in it everyday that’s been sunny since buying it. I now have a fabulous tan without getting too hot!
