Update your profile?

I change our profile pics loads depending on threads in the lounge but hardly ever look at our profile.

Today I commented on a thread and a guy told me it looked like my other half had written it, which he had, but I agreed with it.

We haven't changed it much since we joined over a year ago.

So I made a few tweaks today.

I spend a lot of time reading other profiles, just forgot about ours

Do people change them often?

We adjusted ours recently because of a change in circumstances but otherwise we don’t often bother. Do change the pictures up from time to time though x

I’m a fan of a one liner so I change it every few days I have message filters on and I’m only here for the forums. It’s more of a space filler for me as it can’t be left blank

I update my pictures fairly often adding new ones, hiding others, changing my profile pic. But the text more or less stays the same. Most of it won't change, height, what I'm looking for etc.

Whenever I get another bit of inspiration for ideas that will put people off.

I love those threads that moan about things people dislike about other people’s profiles. I get ideas of things to incorporate from them.

Men dont bother reading them most the time.

But couples/ladies do.

As long as it's TRUE to you does it make that much difference? Add a touch of curiosity, humour and you're on to a winner.

In current times pics say more than words.

I love writing a good funny profile, but most people don't read then until a few messages in and half of them can't tell your taking the piss so ive just started being honest. I'd rather get ignored that try and talk about shit im not interested in for a couple day.

I view my profile more as just a tool to catch the eye of someone who may be intruiged.

Usually have filters on so no one can message, So doesn't really serve much purpose other than making me feel not so bad when I don't read messages when they're off

You're right, you dont to read your own, then revisit it one day, and realise it definitely needs a tweak or spring clean.

Pictures? That's a different aspect? Maybe like a shop front window, where you change it periodically to capture that initial interest?

I definitely look at forum users profiles based on their posts alone, but otherwise it's probably an image that captures my initial interest.

When I am looking for someone I change my profile and status to incorporate my wants for a particular scenario or roleplay that I want to I do, otherwise I dull it down which proves to be a great filter, so I have more time to perv and chat with my mates on here

I'm just afraid that Twitter will get hold of it and introduce a lot of Fact Checks, surpressing my rights to free speech and spreading of inaccuracies

Don't think the wording of mine has changed in the three and a half years I've had this profile - have always taken an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach and I'm mostly happy with mine.

Pics mostly just get added to rather than being cycled too
