I love to crochet, bake and do diamond painting (it's like paint by numbers but with little stones and looks amazing when complete!). I am also starting out running but am still bad at it, although getting a bit better every time

Normally at this time of year, we would be away most weekends at either Steampunk or medieval events.

Instead we've been concentrating on making/adjusting/upgrading our kit.

We are both massive lego nerds! So have a lot of Lego, and our own Lego business...

We also have a laser cutter and like to create stuff with that, which is also a hobby business.

V is a massive nerd (physicist) and has been working a lot but he’s been occupying the kids with science experiments that go bang aswell!

And I (L) have been getting into a bit of baking, been making bacon and cheese pastry wraps, sausage and bean melts and homemade sausage rolls, seeing as Gregs is closed.

What would you say defines something as being a hobby? How often you do it? How much time/energy/money you put into it?

"What would you say defines something as being a hobby? How often you do it? How much time/energy/money you put into it?"

I think it's more about why you do it, I'd say it's anything you do just for the joy of doing it. You may not have a lot of time/money to put into it due to other things you have going on but it's no less valid as a hobby if you only do it every so often.
