What's the most inane thing that has started a proper argument for you and a partner (past or present) ?

Mine was a snotty egg yolk

That resulted in food being launched and a 48 hour silence (plus some cleaning up)

Most recently I convinced my 7yr old boy that toe Jam is a food,made from the substance that oozes from sweaty feet and it is a delicacy to be savoured! He asked his mum over Sunday dinner if we had any toejam to go with the roast and she hit the roof without even allowing me to explain the context and the joke I'd had with him! This is one in a series of minor rows that has ended with us separated and living apart and me now being a single fella! Anyone spot the over reaction there?! Lol!

Being with someone for a long time has taught me to choose an arguement carefully

Im sure in the past we've not spoken for days over the most ridiculous things,but all it does is give you wrinkles,stress you out and create an awful atmosphere

We now blow up at each other and then laugh about it about 2 minutes later as its usually over the most absurd things anyway,I can't even remember what the latest one was about

I couldn't agree more,laughter is definitely the best medicine! Sadly the arguing has cost my wife and I our marriage,I've been away for over a month now and I am happier on the whole,as is she from what I can gather.

me and ex stopped talking after my phone was used to leave a message on Facebook by my cousin whist i was driving she was contemplating getting a bb and i suggested she explore mine unforgivable she found my Facebook on my phone and left a comment which resulted in my now ex phoning me half hour later demanding why i had put i was a lesbian and wanted a wet juicy pussy to play with i myself was in giggles he didn't see the funny side at all threatened to take my phone away as he was paying the contract i told him to relax and grow up mind he was 15 years older then me and i stil giggle about it now was a harmless joke but he thought i was a lesbian

What we do now if we have something that really needs discussing is do it outside of the house

We can both be really volatile and we know exactly which buttons to press to wind each other up the most so indoors we have no regulation over our responses and don't think about what we say

We'll go and sit in a pub,have a drink and chat calmly and quietly,it works really well

I was watching the football with my ex and she asked how the fans all knew how to sing the same songs. I told her that all songs were sent to the FA song committee for approval before being issued by the clubs to their supporters. When she took it, hook line and sinker, there were only so many nano seconds that I could hold back my laughter. Her realisation that I was taking the piss resulted in a major one!

Jay and i rarely fall out, maybe a cross word every now and again. I can only actually remember 3 full blown rows and two of them was over going to downtown/boundry mills. I just get my mother to take me now lol
