As some of you know many have read my profile complimenting me and then further going to suggest that I do write a blog or a book or both.

Today user: "fabswinger932020" did this. After having read my profile we have been in constant communication but she agreed that I should take it seriously and that I should write a blog or even a book.

I just dont know what to write whether for a blog or a book and thought I should come here and ask you all, so any ideas?

ps: fabswinger932020 gave me her permission to name here here.

Thank you fabswinger932020.

Blog first.

Get a rhythm in your wrist.

Stretch before you work.

Train before a marathon.

And other tidbits of whimsical advice that I don't remember until the third coffee.

Your writing style seems to suit a blog if you want to do diary type entries. I have to admit to not reading it as I havnt got my glasses on but write what you know is always a good start

I'd definitely blog first, lots of great platforms and I think you'll reach a bigger audience.

You can grow and engage with your audience, if it goes well, you can then move to books. It's what I would do OP.

Good luck!

I only had a quick browse of your profile. I would suggest a blog. A book is such a big endeavour, it requires more than just a few ideas. Focused development of theme, authenticity and originality of voice, and a clear understanding of what you’re hoping to achieve. If you’re not even sure what to write about, you’re going to struggle. A blog however will allow you to write freely over time, exploring many different ideas as you find your voice and discover your themes. Then you can take your blog and all of your experience and focus on a book.

Thank you for all the answers. There's a clear consensus a blog first.

Shall I thus simply write as my updates or pick some other topic?
