As Swing usually posts about make up.. I thought I would ask same about skincare. Recommendations, revelations etc.

I'm very happy with my cleansing oil by Superfacialist. It smells divine too.

Face cream for sensitive skin in late 30s?

Waiting to see how long it takes for the first chap to say that the best facial moisturizer is cum

My skin is prone to be dry and sensitive to most products, but I've used Palmer's cocoa butter moisturiser for the last few years and it's hands down been better than anything else I'd tried in the past.

I switched from face wipes to cleanser around seven years ago and the difference in my skin was absolutely unreal. It's shocking just how bad they can be for your skin!

I've been prone to hormonal acne in recent years (1 shot of the evil depo jag turned me into the elephant mans ugly sister for 18 months straight & left me with regular outbreaks!)

I used a beeswax lotion bar from a page i found on the book of faces....'beeswax scotland' the stuff was magical & helped my skin dilema heal! I highly reccommend!

I ran out though & my skin got super dry so i laggered my face in vasoline jelly (all i had) & was plesantly surprised! 5 months on im still using vasoline first thing in the morning & last thing at night. Its faded all my fine lines and hasn't caused any outbreaks or anything!

Wipes are so drying, especially if you have sensitive skin.

I use the Body Shop camomile cleansing balm and their sensitive skin moisturisers.

I use to use Elemis, but I haven't noticed any change since using body shop, and it's a lot cheaper

My skincare recommendations would be

The Ordinary Niacinamide - my skin is really prone to breaking out and this is the only thing that has ever kept it under control and I rarely get bad outbreaks anymore, it's also pretty good at reducing pores.

The Ordinary AHA peel - I really don't like textured scrubs and exfoliating products as they can damage the skin, especially if sensitive. I get on much better with chemical exfoliators and this peel only needs to be used once or twice a week and it leaves your skin baby soft, it's worth every penny.

Nivea Day Cream in the pink and white box - I've tried so many moisturisers but I always come back to this one! It's affordable, lightweight but hydrating and my face feels nourished all day when wearing this.

I think they would probably be my favourite skincare products!

Oh yes I love that cleansing balm too! I do prefer Elemis but there isn't a huge difference between the two of them and how they work for my skin.

Never use the wipes anymore.

My skin likes a bit of oil.

When it comes to moisturizing I do like lightweight stuff which gets absorbed quickly.. so anything falling in that bracket gets my attention

B.creamy face wash from Superdrug is lovely.

Any good serums?

Used to absolutely love Clinique Moisture Surge, especially in the summer as it's a gel formula and feels super refreshing, however since developing type 2 Diabetes late last year nothing would work on my dry skin. Then I started using just normal Aveeno lotion on my face around February time and now after a couple of months I get hardly any breakouts even around my time of the month and my skin is a lot softer

I use body shop drops of youth face cream..amazing! Clinique eye cream and a serum by charlotte tilbury.

To remove makeup I use coconut oil..

I’m quite sensitive to fragrance and have dry skin so have been using Cera Ve and the ordinary moisturisers, my skin feels soft and hydrated. There is also a brand called Purito, it’s korean and I get my serum, oil cleanser and mineral based sunscreen from them and they have been game changing for me. I find most “high end” brands aren’t that great once you start reading their ingredients list. If you are ever interested in learning more about ingredients I recommend following Hryam skincare on YouTube, he talks you through ingredients and what is worth the hype and also what isn’t. Since watching his channel the amount I spend on skincare has gone down but my skin looks and feels better.

I like Dr. Botanicals Pomegranate superfood regenerating sleeping mask. It has mixed reviews but my face loves it.

The Ordinary range at boots. I use it now and then and really love the stuff!

Usually just sunlight, plenty of sleep and lots of water. My skin is quite temperamental so don’t do too much too it. I find if I have to much dairy it gives me breakouts so I try and cut back but I like milkshakes too much

That stuff does work and we have launched the DDMID booster that is dual acting. New Clinique range coming summer/ autumn 2020 will be worth a look trust me just finished work on it.

It feels too late to type out everything but I swear by regular charcoal face masks and not using shower gels on my face, not using face scrubs everyday and not using body moisturisers on my face. Washing and then using a good face cream twice a day is alright too.

For me anyway. I do more and I would do even more but like these products are pricey.

I use Aldi Lacura range. Their not cloth cleanser, serum and moisturiser.

The best thing you can do for your skin is wear factor 30 or above daily on face, hands and decolletage.
