"Take a picture of it and monitor it, put a ruler next to it if you have one. Ring your surgery most have video calling at the moment" Sounds like good advice, will do that, like I said I don't bother doctors if I can help it with me it's usually nothing and then I feel guilty about wasting resources

A friend of mine lost part of her nose when a tiny, itchy, red spot turned out to be cancer. The doctors on TV are literally beging people not to ignore medical issues because of the current situation. Just think of it as that you would need more resources if you ignored it and it was a melanoma so you're saving resources by getting it checked early!

To be fair it did look like an insect bite at first and still could be, I'll watch it closely and probably find out I've got lymes desease.

"Probably not but I thought it was an insect bite at first, been there over a week now though, about the size of a penny and on my shin, ragged edge and a slightly different texture to the surrounding skin. I don't bother doctors if I can help it but just wondering how long I should leave it before I do" Please dong leave it, I'm a skin specialist. Early detection is always best. Take care
