I have my own conspiracy theory about conspiracy theorys, lets face it most of them are crap, completely stupid and irrelivant to anything you are really interested in therefore the term cospiracy theory has gained cache as something for obsessive gullible fools,HOWEVER-its also true that there are dodgey people/organisations with whatever power or agenda that will co-operate (conspire if you will) surrepticiously for a common end. Now i know that if i were a dodgey gov agency wanting to obscure my dirty secrets, denying and hiding the truth doesnt always work, one crack in the truth destroys the defence and draws attention, but if you bury it amongst all sorts of bizarre irational clearly fake con theories its actually harder to tell the truth from the huge load of lies and people switch off anyway , so i believe sometimes con theories may be created or exagerated for thier own reasons to obscure unpalatable truths,any thoughts?

Every bit of Olympic I have seen had the build number ss400. Every bit of titanic I have seen has the build number ss401. The bits of titanic I have held came from the wreck site. Olympic was first of the trio and sailed from

Belfast the day titanic was launched. They were never swapped.

If people can't see it fine. Look at this way, the world is over populated, China - one childpolicy, the West - slow kill syndromes, how many more diseases and conditions are apparent these days. Canver 70 odd years ago was something like 100/1 now it's 3/1 sufferers. Has much changed in terms of solution or would you agree it's worsened. The neurological conditions in recent years is now incredible. Take a look at our diets, gm crops, metals and other shit in our water, pension age going up, take take take.

JFK was shot by more than one person (unless you believe in futuristic ballistics)

Diana was pregnant when she died (day before told press she had a big announcement to make and photos of her in swimsuit clearly show a larger tummy than she usually had)

9/11 was allowed to happen to justify invasion into the Middle East oil territories - but I don't think USA/uk realised how bad it'd be

I don't believe

Marilyn was murdered, she was known for mixing drink and drugs and was clearly depressed at the time, not necessarily a conscious suicide perhaps a subconscious one

We didn't land on the moon - blooming expensive hoax!!

Lennon was murdered by CIA - he may have shot his mouth off but was easily discredited without killing him

Titanic had two sisters. She was the second of the three to be completed.

Olympic was the first launched (and it is this ship that is the subject of the conspiracy theory - more on that in a moment)

Britannic was still under construction when Titanic embarked on her fateful maiden voyage.

Britannic sank in the Agean Sea after striking a mine during the first world war (I think it was in 1915 - three years after Titannic)

Olympic was the only one of the three to fulfill the dream until she was finally decommissioned and scrapped in the thirties.

Now, back to the conspiracy theory.

One question about this. Why would the White Star line switch identities of the ships for an insurance fraud? They did not have a crystal ball - they did not predict the liner hitting the iceberg.

There were also subtle differences between the two vessels (windows along the promenade deck etc)

During many of the expeditions to the wreck, this theory has been explored and it is conclusive that the wreck at the bottom of the Atlantic is, in fact, that of R.M.S. Titanic.

I own a fragment of coal recovered from the debris field - I am something of a Titanic enthusiast.

Olympic was the first launched (and it is this ship that is the subject of the conspiracy theory - more on that in a moment)

Britannic was still under construction when Titanic embarked on her fateful maiden voyage.

Britannic sank in the Agean Sea after striking a mine during the first world war (I think it was in 1915 - three years after Titannic)

Olympic was the only one of the three to fulfill the dream until she was finally decommissioned and scrapped in the thirties.

Now, back to the conspiracy theory.

One question about this. Why would the White Star line switch identities of the ships for an insurance fraud? They did not have a crystal ball - they did not predict the liner hitting the iceberg.

There were also subtle differences between the two vessels (windows along the promenade deck etc)

During many of the expeditions to the wreck, this theory has been explored and it is conclusive that the wreck at the bottom of the Atlantic is, in fact, that of R.M.S. Titanic.

I own a fragment of coal recovered from the debris field - I am something of a Titanic enthusiast.

Can't remember how much it was as it was so long ago now, but bought it from official salvors of the wreck and have certificate of authenticity which also registers me as a conservator of Titanic artifacts and my name will forever be linked with the ship. Apparently
