I have to say mine is looking pretty good! I just wash it every couple of days, run some oil through and leave it to dry and that's it. It's naturally wavy and sleek so looks fab.

Omg lockdown hair is getting a tad on my nerves now! Just a tad mind you, but let's see what happens in 1 to 2 months! I have natural thick black hair so when it grows it grows... long! I wear a cap when needed. Only way now.

One of my neighbours was taking the mickey yesterday saying I look like those movie stars having a bad hair day on the telly! The feckin cheek of it! She is laughing at my expense.

Not happy

a quandary, could you change my mind?

I haven't had my neck tickled by my own hair for years , I keep thinking someone is behind me (or rather hoping).

I'm going to have to try and have a tidy up. Hold one mirror while looking in another, while trying to use clippers. This could end up a crew cut.

?

Mine's getting very long, but not in too bad condition as I'm washing it less and not using straighteners on it. Could do with some layers cutting back into it though...I've never understood why my layers grow quicker than the rest of it, surely it should all grow at the same rate, rather than the layers becoming the same length as the rest of it

Fringe very long, roots touched up last weekend, I washed it on Thursday and let it dry naturally, channeling Crystal Tipps.

Manchester (she/her)

I was dithering on a haircut right before lockdown. It's the longest it's been in years. I've decided I don't need to dye it, I was overreacting about the grey. The layers are weird, but I'll cope. In good condition and I'm seriously considering donating all my heat styling crap to charity.

Not easy to style! But the lightening spray I have has done wonders for the roots!)

I uploaded a face pic yesterday. It’s not out of hand but definitely need a beard and hair trim. tell me what you think. One friend believes I look I am going over the top by not cutting it at home. I don’t see why he is obsessed with a “sharp trim” every weekend!

Thinking about going jarhead. Or maybe suede.

My hair is looking good. I was fortunate to have had a hair cut 3 weeks before the lockdown! And had more length taken off than normal, so even though it has grown a couple of inches it still looks good. And I trim my own fringe.

Better than I'd hoped, managed to trim the fringe and sides, can't do the back but that gets quite curly, might stick with something similar even when the barbers open again

I watched a video on you tube.

I'd bought scissors in anticipation.

I cut it all myself.

Sorry haidresser but no more of my hard earned will be coming your way.

I am happy to give the mullet movement some momentum. My hair is so thick at the back but not grown as much on the top or sides. I might give myself a fringe and go full on Dirty Sanchez mullet.

I hacked mine off. Is just long enough to tie back. I've cut off all the previously dyed bit, having already been growing out for a while. Once I can see a hairdresser again they can do their magic, and along with the weight loss I'm hoping to come out of lock down like a butterfly from a cocoon.

More like a moth but hey ho, time will tell

I really used to resent paying the money. Then I started getting cut by a delightful young woman. Daughter of the salon owner (her mother - also foxy) she is a joy to have close for a few minutes. Full of youth, joy and anticipation for the future. Can't wait to get back.
