Individuality

Originality

If you can do these well YOU will be looking good, more at peace with yourself and have a certain...

PS DO NOT expect cheering from the rooftops as you see them walk by in their North Face or leggings.

I love clothes. My style changes with my mood.

Sometimes I want to rock a look and have no problem standing out. Others I'm happy just casual.

My key words are,

Will they fit?

Will I look fat in them lol?

Am I likely to shrink them in the wash?

Are they in a sale?

Sometimes for company, opinion, a good catch up.

And it can be fun having company, make a day of it.

I pretty much go to the same shop...they know me, have a great selection of clothes, and make helpful suggestions. Visit once every 6 months...sorted

I think individuality is important and clothing is a way to express that.

I couldn't do the North Face thing so many wore an item from (a London thing) too robotic, at least choose a different brand!

I never liked or bothered about clithes..so long as they were dark coloured keeping me hidden even in a crowded city then I had a meltdown..found all Id lived before was a lie..a cover up of my past to protect me..total meltdown...the outcome was the REAL ME! I love now to stand out, to look and feel as sexy as a person of my age can..I love colour and the weirdest thing after coming out the other side of my meltdown is that I have a creative knowledge of clothes and my gf says I know better than she does what suits and doesn t suit. I started to buy cheap boring stuff and then convert and fancy them up..to the point a local out of the box fashion shop photographed me as their model of the day in a coat I d altered and customised and have offered to sell anything I make. Its nothing to sit with gf and her mum talking clothes and stitches and designs..I love this new and proper me

For me if a brand name is on the outer clothing it's logo must have style and be small and subtle.

Hey thanks you..my gf says similar..lingerie wise..she loves it. Theres not many gfs that have a guy that whilst shopping for heels, for herself, he teaches her how they should feel, how she should walk to look sexy and turn heads...what cut or line of a dress or skirt or pants suits her best and highlights her gorgeous petite body..not in a controlling way, we shop as a trio and discuss and feel..used to hate clothes shopping hahaha

I’ll often go with opinion of a good flamboyant sales assistant on a high end suit or my daughter on shoes, jeans , shirts, ties, they tend to dress me like my character deserves rather than my tendency to be a little conservative / business minded. I love West African influences on our style of clothing , it’s hard to find the tailors here though. Also Italian silk and leather is good.

I shop the same 5/6 brands of vintage inspired clothes either in the sale or second hand. I have same wardrobe in summer as I do in winter (just wear a cardigan with then in winter). And again same for daytime or evening only difference is shoes/accessories.

So before I buy anything new I ask myself do I really want it, will it suit all year round, will it look good day and night.

You sound like you could give excellent clothing advice and help others save money for different things!
