Why would you want to?

All you can is sit in a park 2 meters away.

Its currently only allowed to be one person, 2 meters apart outside.

Thats not fab rules that the governments. Breaking these can result in a fine.

I can think of ppl I'd rather prioritize than fabbers tbf if I'm gonna meet someone in the park according to the new rules. Mates and family members for example.....

Yes you could meet outdoors with the 2 metres distance in place.

You could enjoy a chat. No harm in that.

I have had a social distancing social on Sunday.

We met in our own cars and chatted with the windows down.

No contact whatsoever. Was lovely to see a different face and chat about been in lockdown and on fab.

And of course we got to meet at last..I see no harm or rule breaking whatsoever

Apparently police can't enforce the 2 metres social distancing. They can only advise.

That's insane unless you have pre existing health conditions

We've never been under a strict curfew / lock down to the extent that you can't go out to exercise/buy food

I go out everyday - important for mental health as much as physical exercise

So long as you are being sensible as regards contact with others (ie no contact) what is the problem?

I'm so glad I have had work to go to (although limited) and I've struggled. I still wouldn't arrange go out to see a stranger, first choice would be family but they are to far away, then friends.

No they're not. Government guidance says you can meet 1 other person from outside your household for social distancing walks, or exercise. But that's not one a day, that's one in total...

No where does it say that you can only meet one person in total for your whole time outside. You can only see one other person outside your house at any given time, that means you could share a walk with a friend one day, exercise with a different friend the next and have a picnic in the park with another a different day

Aww. so your child isnt safe to go back to school for another 4 months but daddy takes him out in public where it takes literal seconds to become infected.

Literally a single second .

if 32 thousand deaths isnt enough to keep a child inside or at the very least, a walk around the block...

You could look at it another way with it being said there is a roughly 98% survival rate. Pretty good odds. Loads of kids have been at school throughout the whole thing anyway

I didn’t say it wasn’t safe for him to return to school, it’s not open so there is not a lot I can do about that If it was I would send him

As for his daddy, how patronising are you ! It is I that takes him out for his walk, following all the rules.

When you’ve seen your son change from his usual happy, outgoing, chatty self who was rarely ever sad, into a quiet, self insolating child who has had three meltdowns in as many weeks; mind doing over time at the situation we find ourselves in, not knowing when he will see his family and friends again, then yes too right I am going to get him out of these four walls for a change of scene and a bit of normality, because it’s the little I can do for him.

Judge all you like but I will do what is best for my family and our mental health
