With time on our hands and fingers hovering over the Amazon 'Buy Now' button, what unusual purchases have you been making during lockdown?

My Sodastream Genesis just arrived and I've regressed 20yrs!

My kids thought it most unusual at my buying an air pump, seeing as they're past the age of paddling pools. What they didn't see, was my previous purchase of a body slide massage mat - in the ever hopeful wish of this lockdown easing

There and to the left a bit

Not Amazon but got sucked in by a Facebook add for a shower head that allegedly was designed to increase the power of your shower - a week or so later it arrived and actually decreased the pressure compared to the existing shower head (which is pretty lame anyway) - mercifully a well written email later and they agreed a 50% refund and let me keep the shower head (they offered a full refund if I returned it at my cost - but given the cost of postage to China the difference was about the same).

Mix up spices from the cooking cupboard with water to form a paste and put it on where he’s chewing eventually you’ll find something he doesn’t like usually either cumin or ginger will stop him chewing the things you don’t want him to chew

Lots of new and revisited hobbies it seems, judging by peoples' purchases.

I know I've bought myself a bike, a ukelele and am refilling my stash cupboard with fabrics and patterns ready for a sewing extravaganza at some point!

I wonder how many of us will keep up new hobbies when things go back to normal, and how many will be sticking everything on Gumtree!

And lastly, the funny half moon thing that due to the political situation where I stay I won’t be using.
