I can but I prefer to have it on as I like it hot and spicy. I like to put on, salsa, dijun mustard, salt and black pepper also other things

I neither like bland nor very spicy food.

First makes me think the creator has no imagination for combining flavours. Second makes me think all they can do is make it burn my mouth and kill all the other flavours/sensations.

It depends on what it is for me.

For example, I do not see the point in ruining a nice piece of ribeye steak by adding anything other than Himalayan salt.

SALT!!!Got to have salt on everything. Dont like spicy food where you lose complete taste in your mouth cos the food is that spicy. No point in it. Is it to disguise the actual taste lol.

In the middle

I add to taste not to drown the taste out, same as salad dressing, I use just enough to cover the salad leaves not so much there’s a puddle in the bottom of the bowl

Yes I do, sometimes I prefer it fresh just as is, with all the different flavours and textures that gives. If I add a dressing it’s a light one like honey and mustard or sweet chilli or just a bit of garlic olive oil

I've a serious sauce addiction. Namely bbq, mayo, sweet chilli or mustard. Also love hot sauce and have been known to put salad dressing on more than a salad.

This is the kind of dressings I make. I'm not a fan of salad cream etc. Unless a bit of caesar dressing x

Honey and mustard is divine !

I could but I wouldn't see the point. It all adds to the flavour. In certain cases it freshens up a dry dish and makes it feel fresher. A cheese and ham sandwich needs a little pickle to liven it up for example. Especially as I don't eat butter.

Bolton

My kids empty half a bottle of ketchup onto the side of their plates, no matter what the food is, then eat about a teaspoon of it.

If a meal is seasoned correctly during cooking, it doesn't need any more. In a restaurant, they can't cater for everyone's individual tastes so you can add a little salt and pepper to suit yourself. If your cooking at home, add the seasoning whilst cooking. It will taste better for it.

On another food related matter do these sandwiches sound ok? Peanut butter with marmite and for dessert peanut butter and chocolate spread?

Tabasco??? A condiment for little girls!!! You need something with Carolina Reaper in it. You know you have had chilli sauce then!
