When you see someone that has a scar whether it’s a pic on fab or at the gym/swimming pool or just out, does it turn your stomach or it’s not an issue for you?

Four years ago I was seeing a Brazilian woman who said she'd had a cesarian section. You literally could not see anything. I couldn't understand, as others I'd seen were clearly visible.

She told me in Brazil they do them differently to England & basically say they butcher you here.

I didn't know that.

Not got a c-section scar but years ago I think any wound that need stitching appeared to be a stitch you up quick job, where as now they are more conscious of the scar that will be left, maybe to do with people being more body conscious now and would perhaps look to have cosmetic surgery to correct if they thought unsightly. Nobody notices my throat scar from 5 years ago but I’m sure if it was done 20 years ago they would, they even told me the were going to cut along my crease before the op to disguise it, cheeky devils I said what crease haha

Having had surgery for cancer removal and 3 c-sections, I hate mine, but the Mr loves them as they are my history and with three fantastic children and the fact I’m still here to talk about them, he wouldn’t change them for the world. The only scars that would bother me are self harm scars because they make me question their mental health and the Glaswegian facial"chibs" because most folk don't get them for nothing, it's not been unprovoked or been caused a random stranger in most cases.

Most of my scars are pretty small, the biggest is covered by my hair so that just leaves my tiger stripes all over my bum & back of thighs from 19 years ago, none on my stomach though.
