I’m not missing pubs or clubs

I miss my family. A hell of a lot. My sixteen year old sister just moved into her first flat. She works 50+ hours a week in a care home, and we haven’t been able to help her move in at all. No one has, except my parents who are both still working full time.

I miss my grandparents, I miss my siblings, my mum and dad....

I miss swimming! I swam an hour a day at least four times, I found it as good mentally as physically, just hope the stamina hasn’t dropped too much!

Outskirts of Cardiff just off the M4

I said holidays on the other one, but in all honesty, I’m missing hugs the most (human contact)

Somewhere nearby

I’m missing meeting one of my Fab besties. I’m missing dirty stuff but more than that I’m missing sitting in Costa with him for hours drinking tea and chatting about anything and everything. And his hugs. He gives the best hugs.

I’m missing being able to see my pals, and walks at the beach, and going to M&S. I’m shielding so can’t even do that just now.

I just miss being able to get out and about without worrying about distance and being too close to people no matter where I go! It's really triggering my anxiety and I need to work on it as it's not going to get better anytime soon.

I also really miss my partners family as they will now miss out on my daughter growing and changing as they live in a different country and they probably won't travel to us for a very long time.

I miss my people, particularly M & my eldest daughter, but also just spending time relaxing & chatting with my friends.

I miss hugs.

Not remotely bothered about pubs/clubs, they were not regular features in my life, but I do miss quiet nights in with M, eating together and relaxing with a few drinks and some music.

I also miss having some time to myself. I'm loving having this time with my kids but parenting solo 24/7 & never getting a break is hard.

K

I feel like I’m missing fun. For me I’m enjoying being in the house with my family but I’m still at work full time and I feel like there’s nothing to look forward to. I wish we could have our usual house party’s or looking forward to going on holiday and relaxing. The only thing I’ve looked forward to at the moment is my rum when I get in from work and I’ve had more rum than I’ve changed my knickers ... it’s not good x

I don't really miss a lot. I broke up with my guy for the final time just before lock down and although I miss him I would be without lockdown.

I work with a lot of my friends and I've bumped into (6ft away) my friends who live in my village while walking my dog

Majority of my family have passed away and my living relatives live a distance so I only get to see them every couple of months anyway.

Apart from the freedom of being able to go places I'm not finding it at all difficult
