All those people complaining about how a lack of sex is driving them crazy and they're gonna go wild the minute lockdown is lifted...

A) would they really be having that much sex under normal circumstances? I don't really know any single people (myself included) that would have had more than one or two encounters in the amount of time since lockdown started.

B) do they really think the end of lockdown is going to initiate some massive free for all? I know I won't be meeting for at least a few months after to see how things pan out ie second waves etc. Realistically I'd be looking at not having sex until 2021!

2020 is now a defunct year and depdning on if your waiting for a vaccine also, part of 2021 is gone too

I think it's fine for monogamous couples to meet up for sex after lockdown. I'd be more reluctant to meet single people who are also potentially getting up close and personal with others.

It is being realistic. I feel like the virus will still be going around even when we can all go back to socialising etc and when people realise that they will not want to go out as much anyways.

Right now many just don’t want to be told what to do, when they get ill or family members get ill then it will hit home.

I have thought the same. Some of the people who are bemoaning the fact that, because of lockdown, they can't get any sex are the exact same ones that before lockdown complained about not being able to get meets.

I'm not meeting again until I've been vaccinated. So that's a long long long way off. As people say, "it is what it is", deal with it. I'm used to not getting any anyway and I'd rather be breathing tbh!

I feel the same way. I get messages from people who are trying to arrange to meet up "after lockdown" or "in a few weeks"... I am vulnerable since I have asthma and am prone to chest problems, so it's unlikely I am going to be meeting up with new people until there's a vaccine.

If there's never a vaccine, my swinging days could be over. At the end of the day, I value my health far more than casual sex.

I used to frequent clubs every fortnight plus occassional weekday meets, so I have infact lost out on lots of sex, however, I wont be going to a club till end of july earliest I think. I do believe clubs will go mental though the second they open x

Well I’ve had the damn virus so hoping I’m immune now. But who knows, life does have to go on at some point. Though currently the death rate is far to high to risk it but as soon as it’s safe I will be like a dog on heat as the longest is gone before lockdown was 18 days.

I think various countries have seen another peak after they have eased the restrictions, watch out for our next one, also the one after that.

I don't doubt there are some who have genuinely missed out, especially forum users as they are generally more inclined to frequent clubs than casual users just looking for quick sex. I wonder how many of those would truly be getting that many meets, if any, off here during this time.

I'd be getting plenty of sex under normal circumstances so this indeed has been difficult.

I'm not sure with regards to a free for all, but as soon as travel restrictions are lifted i'll resume as normal with those I know. I won't put my life on hold for a supposed vaccine that might never arrive and if it did would be experimental with little to no safety testing done.

I've missed 3 planned weekends since lockdown started, so yes, I would have been having a decent amount of sex. I will be meeting people that I know and trust once social distancing is eased, but not anybody new.

I typically take months to get around to meeting and get complaints. 1 guy a couple of years ago was pushy and put out even though I'd told him I was in Sydney, Australia and requested later that day.

I think most of us reasonably have busy lives and other priorities, whereas some have a hard cock and expert immediate attention, like a demanding child

I have people I want to meet once this is over but I’ll be in no rush once lockdown is over as I’ll be assessing the situation for myself not just trusting what the government or media are churning out. The government have already shown this last week that the economy is more important than human lives with the ease on lockdown. Yes I miss sex. Yes I miss the pub and socialising with my mates. I’m currently missing someone to cuddle up with at night more than sex. Think the longer it goes on the more my sex drive decreases I’m bored of wanking now which might shock many who read this. But towards the end I still won’t be rushing if there’s still a risk of covid

Common human nature to want something you can't have, so I think this plays into it. It's psychological.

The same people lamenting they're not allowed to meet will be the same people coming up with excuses and letting people down when they might have the chance.

If you go in the virus forum there seems plenty of people who think this is a hoax, media fear mongering, clandestine conspiracies, all kinds of ridiculous stuff, they are going to be like rats up a drainpipe when allowed.

Most sensible and sane people will wait and see how this plays out before meeting with strangers.

It’s so good to hear others feeling & speaking sensibly too. I constantly keep having to state im not meeting. Of course we get lonely & frustrated, missing sexual intimacy, fun & cwtches, but lots of us have kids & families to stay healthy for, other than our own selves. I think some just read stuff that's shared on Facebook and beleive it. But I agree some think they'll take their chances because they figure they're not at risk of complications.

I had quite a bit planned plus anything else I could fit in. I've missed out on a fair amount of sex.

I had two meets planned and in the diary, which obviously had to be put on hold. That said I've chatted to one or two ladies during the last nine weeks that I'm hoping I'll get the opportunity to meet once this is over, so it's not all bad.
