Has anyone ever been on one ?

im seriously considering hiding myself away for a week next year ans have thought of a "retreat" be it religious or otherwise.

anyone ???

Don't think its exactly what you mean but had a few days at a health spa a few years ago - its good to get away from everything and everyone once in a while - if you can get some quality time I'd go for it!

Not exactly a retreat, in fact would be considered quite the opposite but did the 3/4 stone loss in 3 weeks which is pretty tough so would not advise going mad

used to go walking in scotland

most times never saw any one for days

always fancied one to be honest ..

I am not holy joe but found the Island of Iona vert spiritual when I stayed at the abbey with Oxfam many years ago.

good luck if anyone goes to a retreat and would be interested in feedback of any good ones xx
