I read a thing on here last week where some bloke said he took wet wipes dogging because some people aren't clean.

WTAF.

Just no, get a wash.

As my dear old Nan used to say ‘carbolic soap is 7p and water is free’..... whilst I accept the quote hasn’t aged with the times the sentiment holds strong lol.

That’s a bit ageist isn’t it! Why anyone would want to use a car cleaning product on their skin beats me though!

There needs to be a few criteria met in my humble opinion.

Showered

Good oral hygiene

Smell good

Look well groomed

Clean and ironed clothes

Trimmed or shaved below

I don't think it costs much to be clean and fresh at all If I host the place will be clean, tidy and smelling nice too.

Can’t stand people who reek of sweat, bad breath, wearing clothes which look like they haven’t been washed in days or walk across a carpet and have a whole host of dirt sticking to the underneath of my foot. I’ve encountered all of those mentioned. Disgusting.

Ageist no, carbolic soap was only popular up to the late 70s/early 80s so behave with your ageist nonsense lol.

Showered and teeth brushed.

Its not alot to want, and really should not be something I expect to ask for.

If you smell, it is not happening.

Some saying shower on arrival and ironed clothes etc, a bit too fussy for me. You cannot expect someone to just strip off and jump in the shower when you just met someone and ironed clothes, although a preference, i wouldnt turn someone away for a few creases

I think everyone that wants to meet someone should have showered and smell nice it’s only manners to do so. I know I have been to clubs and sex cinema and you can smell some guys with body odour and it takes nothing to have a shower and some wonder why they don’t get any fun

but I was born in the 90s and didn’t need to google it!! Sooo maybe considered ageist. You’re assuming because of someones age they wouldn’t know what it is!! Sorry just playing devils advocate

Agreed, however I have to believe it's a thing because I live near a few dogging sites and there's always loads of baby wipes chucked on the floor. Maybe there's a link between people who have poor personal hygiene and dropping litter.

Please don’t spray anti-perspirant around the balls area. It don’t half give a gal dry mouth!

The hygiene line always make me laugh. It’s probably the most useless line on here and in my opinion is on par with the Sydney University line

I very much doubt there are many if any who decided to save money by not washing or buying products but I may be wrong. However, we were all teenagers once and would all overspray lynx Africa to mask sweat from PE than brave a shower, I’m pretty sure people still do that as an adult

From experience, I have found that people who have poor hygiene are usually Blissfully unaware that they smell so I very much doubt they’re going to read a line in a profile and suddenly think “oh that’s me...I smell, best not message that profile” Or “better shower before I meet them because they’ve written about it in their profile” Let’s be honest, if they haven’t got a good hygiene routine, they won’t do it just because of a comment on a profile bio

I can’t really be constructive with my comment and suggest a better filter for people with poor hygiene unfortunately. Just got to live n learn as well as being bold enough to say no thanks if you’re ever put in the position of someone turning up unclean or unkempt

But going back to reason for OP’s post. For me it’s:

visible dirt,

Smell of any kind

Greasy hair

Unclean clothes

Dirty/stained teeth
