using hotmail , over the last 6 months or so there seems to be more and more adverts in the margin leaving the area to write in about the size of a senior service fag packet

same applies to mail you read

if you use an internet cafe , or library you do not get this problem

does anyone know of a way please to block these adverts etc ?

you have to go into optiona nd make it so it reads messages as a full page, this then takes away the adds at the side, it's in tools i think or on page set up, it's been a while since i did it myself or you could install a pop up blocker theres loads of free ones on www.freeware.com

Yeah - Gmail is better. Also larger monitors and higher resolution often help.
