Yes love an overhung ham sandwich. Especially when they are uneven and juicy.

I prefer it otherwise you need to open up to see if there is any ham or not.

To be fair you cant be fussy with these. Take another come. I have learned to accept all ham sarnies as they come.

I feel this is a loaded question and I'm not really talking about a ham sandwich but in that case I like nice thick cut ham that drops all out from the sides of the bread.

It looks very appealing sat on the plate like that.

If it is a ready prepared bought sandwich you take it as it comes.

If I am making my own the ham will overlap on all four edges, normally choose betweem mustard or Branston for the added flavour.
