Don't send more than one message without a reply, you'll probably get blocked. No reply is a no thanks.

That's true but if it hasn't been read in the first place, a read message with no reply is definite no interest.

I prefer a block, then you know you don't need to message that person ever again. If everyone did this they would not get non stop messages and would help everyone

Delete messages from your sent box OP, that way you wo t have to worry about it. If it hasn't been read or responded to it generally means they aren't interested.

If they're on the forums maybe start a thread with their name in the title and go on to say how amazing you think they are, that usually gets their attention and goes down well.
