Keep neck and shoulders as warm/hot as you can and keep popping paracetamol as per instructions of course.

Sandwich

Actually cold works much better than heat, so an ice pack or freeze spray would be a better idea

get something to line your stomach first. I have to take naproxen a lot and have to take omeprazole first

Are you sure it’s a frozen shoulder?

Usually steroid injections or surgery!

If it’s a tear then just physio exercises.

Your small muscle groups may have become weak and you may need to do exercises with bands and very light weights!

I also have frozen shoulder and have had it for about 6months so far I take zapain prescribed by doctors.

.Mine is still extremely painful with very limited movement I had exercises sent to me from physio to do to try and get movement back .There is also a steroid injection you can have but due to the virus they are not doing them at this moment in time.

look online for the exercises hope it eases can’t remember the last time I had a good nights sleep..

Get with the physio.. I had one of mine operated on.. The shoulder is a unique joint in the body

. If you "guard" it for even a short time it stops working freely.

The longer the worse it gets..

Try defrosting it? 3 mins in a microwave should help!

Ive had mine for about 3 years, its slowly getting better. One problem is that you start to rely on other muscle groups which you can put udue strain on and end up in pain from them as well. If you get chance, see a doctor and they will normally refer you to a physio. That might not happen atm but you may strike lucky. The physio (or maybe your doc), will show you very simple, gentle excercises. Its important that they are done correctly though. They will apply a special tape to your shoulder to help you to feel when you are doing them correctly. Its not a quick fix but it does work.

Central

Hot baths are ok for relaxing your muscles. I'd use ice packs, or frozen veg pacs if you have no ice. Cover the ice with a thin cover, such as a tea towel, to prevent skin damage. It will increase blood flow to the area, facilitating healing. Don't stop using your body, as motiom will help, unless paim is excrutiatingly bad. Repeat the ice treatments, about 10 minutes at a time.

Anti-inflamatory pain killers may reduce swelling but the swelling is needed as part of the recovery process, thus paracetamol or combined paracetamol with codeine, could reduce the perceived pain

Some gentle stretches as it recovers could help, as well as keeping it moving gently.

Self massage may ease it, increasing blood flow, helping healing.
