I find when you put the milk in after that it cools the brew down too much.

Just as well I only drink Black Coffee

Milk in coffee first or it burns and tastes bitter.

Milk in tea last as the boiling water needs to release the tea flavour then add the milk

I have a blind friend who squirts toothpaste straight on to his teeth as he says he can guarantee to get it in his mouth much better than getting it on the brush.

Agree with the milk in Coffe first for the same reason (although I only drink Black Coffee)

However if you put the milk in tea first then add the hot water, you still have to let the bag brew abit...

Smelling someone elses food is also off the list, I hate when someone sniffs my plate of food

That's not exactly true either

So

Obviously tea needs near boiling water to extract correctly

Thus absolutely never if making a mug of tea

However the origin of milk first comes from fine delicate China tea cups which if the hot water was added they could break hence the milk first concept

With modern chunky cups no difference however a fine tea brewed correctly(I like oolong loose tea made with a tea infuser ball),it could be said if being pretentious should not be ruined with milk but to just taint the tea if one must then post milk would enable the perfect dose

Obviously coffee is different

Expressed or stove top

85 degrees ish

Neat or milk warmed possibly steam frothed

Milk can be added to shot or shot to milk and they do taste different as there is a greater mix in the milk to shot method

No sugar in either

Now hot chocolate......
