Underground, overground, Wombling free

The Wombles of Wimbledon Common are we

Making good use of the things that we find

Things that the everyday folks leave behind

FABWatch HQ

The Wombles

Camberwick Green was full of repeated musical set pieces and wooden acting. Behind the scenes the in-fighting and the talent pay disputes were notorious. Even Wi(e)ndy Millers early LGBTQ appearance couldnt rescue it.

Wombles ensemble - on-screen Great UB, fresh from Hamlet, Mdm Cholet and Tobermory sizzled in the early days of their lifelong romance. Wellington as inspiration for Harry Potter, Bungo naif and Tomsk as eye-candy.

Not forgetting Orinoco (originally called Anaconda as an in-joke on his prodigious manhood). An infamous swinger who hung around the common in bushes and liked to get at least 40 (fab) winks a day.

Earliest scripted reality and pro's every one.

Camberwick fucking Green?? Pah. The Wombles, every time.

Captain Snort and his men could take the Wombles easy.

So could the firemen in Trumpton.
