when did you last genuinely put your foot in it?

me?

we went up my local shopping centre the other week and there were people doing blood pressure checks for part of stroke awareness day, or something.

anyway, Em had hers checked, as she suffers with her pressure.

the old lady sat in the chair asked if i wanted mine checked, and me being me said 'no thanks. i cant wait to have a stroke' and gave her a wink.

now, in my mind i was meaning when we got home, but the look on the poor dears face says she was thinking of no such thing.

just wanted to disappear....
