Well well pushed on this morning to do 8km in 51.37. 6.26 a km. I was well happy with that. The pace was a little quicker than last Sunday but for an extra Km. so fitness is getting really good.

If I could have kept the pace up for the last 2km I would have done the 10km in 1hour 4 mins 30 secs which would have been respectable for sure!!!!!

Top work! I'd be thrilled with that, you should be too!

I've not made it to 5km yet. Still just in the verge of pain in a knee and a swolen ankle at 4.5, but pace is good at about 18 mins

Good work OP. Nice feeling when you do a good run.

I have good and bad days running. Never know which it will be until I get into it. I have a few niggles which do not help. Will keep it up though.

5k in 25 mins. Not satisfied but I'm not 27 years old anymore yknow.

Hoping to get it back down to 18 mins, just gotta put the hard yards in innit.

I went out Sunday and yesterday. Got some decent hill work in but might do hill repeats tomorrow to get it back in to the routine

Just back from a 13km run, but boy it was hot out there!

It felt like I was out in Portugal!

The cold shower was a blessed relief, and I'm glad it's getting cooler over the next week

Happy Saturday runners! I've just moved to an extremely hilly town and went for an exploratory run this morning and climbed almost 210m (in total) - definitely the hardest I've worked for quite some time. My lungs and legs were screaming!

It's beautiful round here though and I'm looking forward to discovering more and - bonus - building up my stamina. If I can work up the motivation to get myself out knowing I'm going to suffer...
