couple, us we him her.

Learned over a lifetime.

So I'm a carpenter been doing this since leaving school at 15 I'm 52 this year.

I have found over the past year that I am losing my edge, job's that where second nature and I have done countless times I struggle with along with my accuracy and concentration.

Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else?

Not trying to alarm you but maybe you should ask your Dr for a memory test.

Seriously though that's not a bad idea my memory has started to be shocking of late tell me something and I will instantly forget it, trying to recall name's and word's can take age's or a complete blank.

The only way I can describe it is.

My brain used to be on broadband now it's gone back to dial up and the information can take age's to become available.

Absolutely get checked, it could be something as simple as a vitamin or mineral deficiency.

You can 100% loose skills if you don't use them or allow bad habits to creep in.

However if you a have cognative issues with other things outside your work see your Dr and don't wait.

But if it only at work, try to change your diet and exercise.

My memory goes to shit if I don't eat right for few days

Hi,

You don't say how old you are but i know from experience after 50ish you lose ability on a sliding scale & you memory def suffers. As long as it's not rapid loss it's just ageing.
