there's a furore in the states over a judge declining the womens soccer teams request for equal pay . As an ex pro footballer this is of particular interest..any thoughts?

My thoughts are this and I haven't read any background at all.

If these clubs are commercial and earn revenue for club owners AND the all male matches bring in more revenue then I guess they can pay them more.

I think a great deal needs to be done for society to recognise the skill of women's football BUT if they don't bring in the same amount of cash then I am not against them being paid at a lower rate.

I am totally against the ignorance of women in football in history and how they were squeezed out but .......... capitalism sucks in many ways.
