My daughter managed to get one but I didn't want another machine so looked up how to make a rower at home and came across the fitness bands.

Look for it on tinternet...... it looks the bees.

You can use the tension band to row

And treadmills. And turbo trainers (the thing cyclists use for indoor training).

It's crazy - can see secondhand ones going for hundreds of pounds more than the new price!

Sounds good but I'm a sucker for the little screen thingy - makes me push myself.

Might be able to change just the cable?

If it happens to be a concept 2 C or D, we'd be very happy to buy it off you

Unfortunately not!

I’ve tried all the usual sites. Also refuse to pay more for a second hand one than it costs new.

Yes and any other fitness thing is.

You will see some ridiculous prices on gum tree and Ebay for them these days.

Yeah, seems like many are really embracing the principle of supply and demand

now in Germany

as a rower, I'd really only recommend the Concept 2 ones. but they can be very expensive.

If you'd like any advice just message

I hate to make you jealous but I brought a concept 2 model D with PM5 monitor from gumtree last year, the guy had brought it brand new injured himself using it then sold it to me 3 months later for £700:00, it is just coming to the end of its warranty, guess I was lucky but it took me a while to find a decent one. How much Would that be worth now?

Some years ago I bought a brand new one from a guy who'd won it in a rowing competition. Good discount and still going strong!

Just got one for free. Its OK for now till my fitness levels increase and weight drops off. Only manage 10 minutes, a rest then back on it.

Day 2

Concept 2 rower is really the only way to go for a proper training/fitness rower. Got mine 2nd Hand many years ago and is essential for my winter training. Can't beat on the water training though.
