The new normal...

So I think we all going to have to get used to a new normal.

Not sure what that will look like but I for one think some things will definitely be better, working more from home, staggering start times etc...

What would you like to see in the "new normal"

More appreciation for supermarket workers who are putting themselves at great risk for very little pay.

No i don't think that's even possible.

We are never going back to the way things were.

We won't be able to.

If we have a second outbreak things will be even stricter.

Amateur sport.

Nobody gets paid for playing any sport anymore and let the best people/ team rise to the top.

Money is the route to all evil.

Hell yes. And refuse workers, and other unappreciated workers who keep society running.

recently people have got to much interaction with each other through apps and facebook etc.

always wanting to know what someones up to or doing. showing off what they got or passing judgement on things they know nothing about.

basically being nosey fuckers so I hope social distancing becomes the nom.

I would like people to be tolerant of others and have patience.

I’ve enjoyed a quiet and calm pace of life. I’ve loved it actually so I would like that to carry on as much as possible

Compassion and kindness. People actually giving a shit about eachother and the effect their words and actions have on others.

And common sense.

With me travelling overseas regularly with business, I have met some great people (mainly cabin crew) over the years and we sometimes catch up for coffee etc. With air travel industry taking a big hit, I don't think I would see most of them again, atleast for a long time!

Couple years down the line everything will be back to normal.

I do think we may however follow what they do in the Far East and wear masks when out and about.

Things going digital.

Meetings being held virtually rather than in person.

Juries maybe reduced from 12.

Just a general appreciation for the simpler things in life. Going for a walk. Checking in on your neighbours, creating a bit more of a community oh and definitely making sure you close the curtains next time you chain the Mrs to the cross in the bedroom and have a great session because everyone can see in

Output based pay than hours based (where possible)

People relying on emergency services for true emergencies

Having a virtual or online option for most services

General recognition that peoples' mental health is equally important as their physical health

Greener planet- People and Govt take measures to avoid unnecessary travelling

I think that would do for now.

Better mental health support. That would be ideal. It can be a bit of a postcode lottery. Limited offer. Long waiting lists.
