...human contact.

I live on my own and it's ok talking online or whatever but I really miss hugging and touching.

Anyone else feeling like this?

Yes a little bit, I’m quite a tactile person and used to hugging friends/family and even colleagues at work as we are a friendly bunch

I’m fortunate to be furloughed with my partner at the mo.

But I’ve done my time solitary on tours when in the military, so I know how ya feel buddy, try n keep busy, talk to folks on the phone n FaceTime/Skype if ya can for now.

Yup, missing it so bad!

On lockdown alone; would normally get hugs from friends / colleagues / family /J every day. Although now at the stage of wondering how will I be able to hug anyone again for fear of catching something!

Completely agree, OP. I'm shielding with my two children who are lovely and great company, but I'm longing for a hug, a kiss, physical contact with a man.

I miss hugs a lot and I can't wait to hug my mum and reassure myself she's OK, to hug my mate and thank her for checking in on me when I've been struggling, to hug another mate and condole with him on the loss of his dad.

Zoom and WhatsApp and Teams are great, but lack the real connection of human touch.

I am used to living by myself city to city. I miss catching up with my mates though!
