"got a 10 yr old with very bad eczema all over. creams from docs not helping much and he scratches till bleeding. anyone know anything that can help. he's had cortisone cream on occasion, doesn't help much. moisturising up to 4 times a day and hydromol twice a day" Silly question but what washing powder do you use? My mother switch to non bio which help my eczema as a child.

"There's a moisturiser that I get from Asda in the baby aisle that I use for my skin and my daughters. I think you can get from other supermarkets and boots. It's called Child's Farm. They do a shower gel and bath stuff as well. I found much better than the Dr stuff" Child’s Farm stuff is great !

"As already said use non bio and don’t use any softner wash all his clothes separately, Aveeno cream really was the only thing that helped my daughter and she had it really bad , the gp used to prescribe it for her but you can get it in the shops I’ve found Home Bargains the cheapest. Also have you noticed if it’s worse with certain food?" he eats 90% fresh prepared food, not keen on dairy. has plenty greens and fruit, not noticed any particular trigger with diet

I experienced similar and found out I actually have certain allergies to some washing softeners and spices. When I changed/stop using them, all gone x
