I pay our car tax monthly by direct debit. its due for Renewal on Thurs/Friday. but haven't had my reminder. will it just continue. Thanks in advance you sexy lot xx

It’ll just carry on automatically unless you haven’t got insurance.

So as long as it’s insured there’s no need to worry

Direct Debits generally just keep rolling until you cancel them.

That's why businesses are so keen for us to set them up.

Your Direct Debit for vehicle tax will renew automatically when it’s due to run out.

You’ll get an email or letter telling you when your payments will be taken.

You will not be sent a vehicle tax reminder letter (V11).

Yes it continues. They let you know if it won't continue... like mot expired or something.

well actually the MOT ran out today but I was told they have given extra time for to get it MOT'd is that correct?

that is correct.

if your vehicle requires an mot you have an extended period to get this done.

the rule is the vehicle must remain road worthy at all times until a mot station can test the vehicle.
