So when this is all done and lockdown is a distant memory, where would everyone want a social in Cornwall?

Newquay

Truro

St Austell

Penzance

Falmouth

These are our main thoughts

"Not Torpoint?

It's just inside cornwall so less travelling. Plus Plymouth and all its amenities is just over the river. My suggest is purely practical.

Unfortunately most of our fab friends are from further south so we wouldn't do it at Torpoint.

Possible Plymouth for a future social

Torpoint seems a bit pointless as there are already a regular plymouth social

There never seems many social events round falmouth way, so maybe that would be a good place, way to far away for me though

where abouts are you?

Falmouth is a great place and we always try and be near to cheap hotels and guesthouses for folks who want to stay over in the same places

Im between Newquay and Bodmin but dont drive, which makes any trip a mammoth expedition.

Obviously though, any social event in Cornwall should always be welcome as we need more going on in the area.

I love Cornwall, even more so after a peek at OP’s gallery.

Shame I’m so bloody far away.....to answer the question, anywhere would be great but Newquay would probably be top.

If I ever were there, it might make for an interesting to any of my friends I bump into, I have a few down that way!

It will be winter by the time we can all socialize again, if not later, so outdoors might not be a good idea.

Truro is pretty easy for most to get to but doesn't have as many hotels or guest houses as Newquay or Falmouth!

We went into Truro last time that we were down.

Its a great place to have a wander around and has some lovely shops too.

Plymouth

As people will travel accommodation is key , so a resort town. Falmouth and newquay are probably the best options , enough pubs and bars etc to choose from.

And the beach close by.

A gathering drinks in the afternoon on the beach? Bbq ?

Great idea and thx for prompting this ...
