I think that can only be answered by the individual but for me, I check out their profile first, if that doesn't put me off I may open the message and then depending on the contents of that I decide if I'll reply or not.

It seems like women can regulate the influx of emails by the type of profile picture they use as well as the traditional filters. I would imagine the market for clothed pics is different to the one for vag pics but would be relying on the ladies for empirical evidence!
