A reindeer hot water bottle.

Two videos sent in delicious succession.

My hanging basket blossoming.

A truly perfectly amazing conversation involving chicken stock and snaking.

During a day like this, a reindeer hot water bottle sounds lovely

Oh that’s brilliant.

So underrated... physically sending something through the medium of postperson with a few caring words written in ink

I know. Not quite the same as WhatsApp message or fb one. The effort of choosing a card. Adding a quote to give me some strength, passing wishes from a community we were both involved in at some point. It is very reassuring knowing someone is actually thinking of you that deeply to pick a lovely card, write something personal and make an actual walk to drop it. We weren't home so I found it later on. And it's on the shelf now. Lovely reminder.

Seeing a handicapped teenager get excited, at ordering and paying for a burger.

Shame we can't all get that excited at things.

Just been river swimming with my girl and puppy and I was so close to falling flat on my arse on a slippery wear and my girl was laughing her face off at me doing like an involuntary running man dance, which in turn made me smile....

(that explanation made total sense in my head as I was typing it out, but reading it back now I'm not so sure.... )

Chilling with my gf and my 75 yr old bestie..laid on cushions, smoking ciggies and drinking whilst listening to classic 60s tracks and her stories of seeing Elvis in Las Vegas and Isaac Hayes at Sammy Davies Juniors party...we had a real hippy hangout..why the big smile. The laat time my friend did that was 10 year ago before entering a bit of a dark period.
