Just been reading a meteorite travelling at 19 456mph is due to pass within six and a half times the distance of the moon...NASA classing it as a near miss!! It's 1.2 miles in diameter..but don't go buying toilet rolls and pasta..NASA been tracking it since 1998

Yeah it's the ones that NASA hasn't been tracking that we need to worry about. That big interstellar asteroid that zoomed through the solar system a few years ago was pretty interesting.

Somewhere

NASA gave it a catchy name, 52768 and it will pass as close as 929,560 miles. Hang on folks, it’s going to be a close one.
