It’s been a while since I’ve been there! You’re right thought, a good mix of places and not far to walk between them.

I heard a while back that Prezzo was closing; did it get replaced by anything?

Only went to places for organised socials so not very often at all.

Other than that I work in one, and would happily not go back until Xmas.

It does indeed, my go to pub people would class as an old man’s pub, but the mixture of people that come in from students to the old boys and everything in between, plus the staff, is what makes it - like an extended family

It was replaced by the Sorrento Lounge. I never frequented it as Prezzo

I'm hoping after this people will be more polite & understanding to hospitality employees but I know this is wishful thinking.

A lot of our locals won’t be opening when the time comes. I know of one privately owned pub where the owner has shut up permanently. We’ve also got someone who bought a closed pub the month before lockdown and who has refurbished it; not sure if it will ever open now

The hospitality trade will be extinct if they enforce a closed policy to new year, and that a lot of jobs up the swanny!
