The other thing we get a lot of are winks and meet requests from profiles that say "Won't meet smokers"

Our profile clearly states that we are.

Bearing in mind I dont trust profiles

It's most plausiblely an error of quickly creating a profile

The few iv seen it on have seemed suspicious in general

Of course there absolutely will be a profile where a genuine person is a smoker and does not wish to meet

Why who knows

But I'd suggest the most common explanation is form filling error

And as I will guarantee they wont reply you wont find out either xxx

Yes I get that, not as much as you as I'm a single guy, maybe they just tick the box when they join but aren't really bothered about it
