I just discovered that M&S house white is really nice. It's a Spanish dry wine and it's 12%.

Only £3.33 a bottle. Yes £3.33. Anyone else got suggestions? Red or white at let's say, less than a fiver.

Lidl wines are excellent. I'm pretty sure they do a Primitivo for under a fiver - the best red!

I have no idea what any of em are... Not a huge fan of wine, either... But Aldi have a fair few ones that I quite like, for next to bugger all

I never drink wine. I find it takes forever for me to feel like I've had a drink after drinking wine.

If you ever see Brancott Sauvignon Blanc for less than 7 quid just buy it. My favourite. Lovely

I got turned into bit of a wine snob when went to Melbourne for 6 months, done a few Yarra Valley winery tours which were fantastic.

So unfortunately, I've turned into one of those pricks that go on like a sommelier, but actually doesn't have clue what they going on about

Morrisons do a red called shy pig which is really nice, smooth and quaffable. £3.49 a bottle.

Aldi used to do a red called Winking Owl which was amazing £4 a bottle.

I'm getting thirsty now...would wine in my cornflakes be wrong?

Try an app called Wot Wine, when you’re in the supermarket you scan the bar code with the app and it gives you a rating and an indication of whether the bottle gives VFM.

I’ve discovered some fantastic wines in Aldi for around £6, their Exquisite Collection Argentine Malbec is lovely and is £5.99.

Sainsbury's does a really good Australian red plonk called Woolmi. £4.60. Great for a couple of glasses and for throwing in a glug or two whilst cooking a tomato based sauce!
