But we have to grin and bear what life has thrown our way I suppose "

I’ll accept the lightweight but having worked in alcohol treatment for a large amount of my professional career I do sometimes avoid over drinking on a daily basis lol but I agree it’s a case of grinning n bearing it at moment. I’m still working full time so I’m still getting on with it

I was only being facetious

I was a raging alcoholic a few years ago.

Now I can control myself. I still have a beer but I won’t touch spirits. I was drinking two bottles of Jonny Walker a day in my pomp lol.

I know it’s never easy. I did 12 yrs in substance misuse services specialising in alcohol for most of that. And I’ll still be causing mayhem in my 70s if I survive that long
